Dytecna was formed in 1947 as a design drawing office under the name of Drawing and Tracing Ltd. Since its formation the company has remained an independent organisation, providing engineering solutions for governments and commercial customers globally. The company's founder and current Chairman continues to play a role in the development of Dytecna, overseeing the continuing expansion and diversification which have so far enabled the company to provide through life support solutions, engineering design and development, manufacturing and installation.

We are a company that prides itself in tackling any challenge by harnessing our very diverse expertise and resolving, through our commitment to excellence, strategies that work.

Total synergy between the company's business areas ensures that Dytecna can provide the most effective and efficient project team with the combined expertise to satisfy the most stringent turnkey project requirements.

Many solutions exist already within the technological advancements to date, but it is the understanding of their usages and being able to implement them creatively that is the key.

In line with a policy of continuous improvement, Dytecna achieved the ISO 9001 Quality Standard in 1994 and the company's position at the forefront of technology is further enhanced by a commitment and accreditation to the Investors in People programme (IIP). A current quest to achieve Business Excellence is well under way.

Dytecna holds certificate number FM 27444 and operates a quality management system which complies with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2000 for the activities detailed in the scope of our registration.

We are proud to announce that on the 25th February 1999, Dytecna was formally recognised as an INVESTOR IN PEOPLE company. This is the first step in our move towards becoming a Learning Organisation, helping to improve our business success by effectively investing in the development of our employees.

Dytecna are currently working towards EFQM Business Excellence Model and Supply Chain Excellence Programme.
