Technical Authoring

Dytecna's technical authors are drawn from a wide range of industrial backgrounds. This ensures experienced staff are available to efficiently provide technical publications for all commonly used specifications including:

Electronic documentation, including Interactive Electronic Technical Publications to ASD S1000D and DEF STAN 00-60 Part 10
Spares provisioning and procurement to ASD S2000M
Paper/electronic documentation to the ATA100/2100/2200
Army Equipment Support Publications (AESP) and JSP180
Ship publications to DEF STAN 02-40
Air publications to AvP70
Other publications to customer specific specifications

The technical authors work closely with the Dytecna ILS engineers. This ensures accurate and consistent output is achieved between the ILS disciplines and Technical Publications. The technical authors are supported by a team of illustrators who provide circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, lice diagrams and photographic editing skills.

Military Technical Publication Management/Revision

In Dytecna, these processes are under the control of the Documentation Services Manager and are subject to regular inspection and review. Publications are produced and revised in accordance with the appropriate in-house work instructions.

The preparation, handling, storage and distribution of classified material is fully covered by in-house work instructions prepared in accordance with the Company's List X status.

Dytecna offers the following specialist graphics services:

Isodraw

Used to create isometric illustrations and export CGMs which are becoming an essential requirement within ministry circles due to their excellent quality yet small file size for a graphic.

Isodraw Cad Process

We can now take in cad drawings, manipulate the data and tailor the illustration for documentation without interrupting the Design Draftsmen. We are also able to offer animation within Isodraw Cad Process.
