Bespoke Control Systems – RT-DACU

Dytecna implements 'decoupled' systems for the data acquisition and control of mechanical test rigs.

This is achieved by using a true real-time deterministic data acquisition and control unit (RT-DACU) that carries out the control and monitoring of the mechanical rig, linked to a PC via Ethernet. The PC acts as the user interface, schedule controller, and data logging unit and runs under Microsoft Windows XP Pro. The RT-DACU would normally include signal conditioning and actuator driver components.

Dytecna develop and write control software that will run under real-time interrupt and provide a deterministic data acquisition and control rate.

A number of DACUs can be networked to provide a distributed data acquisition and control environment.
